Why BA (Government and Administration)?

The world today faces new challenges and disruptions demanding new thinking and innovative solutions. The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has already entered our paradigm, it has dynamically changed the traditional understanding and in effect, the kind of education required to cater to these disruptions. So we need to ask ourselves that embedded in these challenges are there emerging opportunities?

At MIT-World Peace University, we are constantly working in a dynamic environment to cater to these demands. Padma Vibhushan Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, eminent scientist and research scholar,in his book “Leapfrogging to Pole-vaulting: Creating the Magic of Radical yet Sustainable Transformation”, mentions the need for changing our traditional focus from STEM to STEAM, we need to bring in the component of human being & human sciences, which will help us find solutions which are sustainable.

The areas of creative and original thinking like that of Policy Research & Implementation, Think Tanks etc. are in dire need of such professionals. We find the Government of India opting for Lateral Entry, at the global level, the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), MNCs ,consulting firms and other corporates are demanding human resources from a multi- disciplinary background, particularly in the management of CSR activities. The new environment of start-ups has thrown up new opportunities as well.

The BA (Government and Administration) program is built with a spirit to imbibe the multi- disciplinary approach and make you future ready for these new career prospects. Needless to add, opportunities lie also in far better readiness for UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Combined Defence Services (CDS), State Services Examination etc.
